Hello, my name is Steve Hilliar and if there is one instrument I love it is the guitar.
I started learning as a kid I am passionate about the instrument. My interest lies particularly with Fender Electric, however it stretches across the whole industry.
I built a Telecaster guitar when I was 19 years old and also built my own amplifiers. The purpose of this website is to promote the art, provide young people the opportunity to learn something and at the same time publish a little history.
Here is a VERY embarrassing moment for me:
This was me with a BORROWED genuine 1960 something Fender Stratocaster, playing at a wedding dance in Browns Bay, Auckland new Zealand around 1965!
